Jews of Colour (JOC) is a pan-ethnic term that is used to identify Jews whose family origins are originally in African, Asian or Latin American countries. Jews of Colour may identify as Black, Latino, Asian or of mixed heritage such as biracial or multi-racial. Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews from North African and Arab lands vary in whether they self-identify as “Jews of Colour”.

We are an incredibly diverse group. This documentary will explore the rich history of diversity within Judaism. It will discuss how we are starting to embrace our differences and how we can do a better job of celebrating our diversity.
